I stopped off at Sally Beauty over the weekend because I heard about a really cool offer that I figured would be a great benefit—and boy, was I glad I did.
This is my bottle of Seche Vite. I got it for free with a purchase at Ulta about 2 years ago. As you can see, it is a little on the empty side.
As a member of their beauty club, I get all manner of emails from Sally, which I do not mind. I mean, I love looking at them. And I especially loved seeing the coupon for ‘Buy a Seche Vite topcoat and get a free China Glaze (not Transitions).’
So I went in and struggled for a bit, because I didn’t have the swatches I normally keep, and so I wasn’t exactly sure what color I wanted… So it was a struggle, to say the least. I ended up being lured by a last chance sticker… And I ended up with this color:
Meet Blue Sparrow. It’s a neon blue glitter. It matches absolutely NO color I have. I was torn between this and Dorothy Who, but because I couldn’t find a swatch of Dorothy Who, I went with this one. I probably should have gone with Dorothy Who, after swatching and checking it out online…
Ruby Slippers was not in the list, because I figured I could make it myself with some red polish and glitter.
Here is the 2 coat swatch of the polish—I think it might be a 4 coater. It does not look promising at this point, but at the price I paid, I am totally fine with it—it was FREE folks… FREE!
